Late one night, in need of a book for the hospital waiting room, I stopped at a big box store ten minutes before closing. I sprinted first to the snack aisle and then to the books. I’d been reading a lot of non-fiction, so I needed fiction. Preferably a lightish romance. I picked up this copy because the title sounded right, and I’ve read a couple of other books from Taylor and really liked them.

I didn’t get around to reading it that night. And then it sat on my bookshelf for months. Then, before heading off for vacation recently, I grabbed it. The book is an easy read, but it deals with loss and lots-o-feelings so I’m really glad I didn’t start reading it when I purchased it. But I am happy to have read it now.

It’s a good for contemporary romance fans who like an emotional roller coaster and a bit of spice.
